HPC Pool To Be Open For the Summer

With the summer semester fast approaching, you may be thinking about what you want to do for vacation. If you are a UT Tyler student, the Herrington Patriot Center’s pool will be open to you and your family for the summer to come and enjoy some fun in the sun!
The covers of the pool will be lowered for the summer, allowing for a great atmosphere for family fun and relaxation.
The pool will be open from 15 minutes after the HPC opens to 15 minutes before the HPC closes. The summer hours for the HPC are as follows:
- Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday: Noon – 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon – 5 p.m.
The features of the pool even include volleyball and basketball nets, a therapy vortex, fountains and a zero-depth entry that’s perfect for small children. The aquatics program at the HPC also includes seven week swimming lessons for groups and individuals all summer, as well as an open schedule for any-age pool parties.
