History
Before the haunted attraction became what it is today. In the 1930s, the old Tyler Pipeline took residence in the same spot. The area witnessed several fatal accidents tied to the operations on the property dating back to the 1930s and a 1970s fire. The Tyler Pipeline was sold to the Southern Foundries in 1973 and moved to Swan. Wild Card Entertainment bought Terror Night’s Haunted House, established in 2008, to form the World of Khaos Thrill Park, which covers five warehouses and 33,000 square feet of the haunt. Charles Cox currently owns the World of Khaos.
Haunted Houses
The World of Khaos is a haunted house attraction with a theme kept under wraps to create suspense for the public.
Before entering any haunted house, the rules are not to run, not touch actors, no bags, no masks, no racial slurs, to keep moving forward, and no harassment towards any actor or visitors. They do not allow pictures taken inside the attractions and will only allow them outside the houses or near the ticket booth with actors for photos. Cameras are in both haunted houses for actors’ and visitors’ protection. Red glowing exit signs are placed throughout both houses if there is a reason to exit early in the attraction.

Karnevil’s Revenge Haunted House
The Karnevil’s Revenge greets visitors with five neon drawings on swirly circles. The theme for this haunted house is the circus. The large metal doors swing open to unveil a red tunnel that leads into a room decorated with green and orange graffiti. The first step in seeing the haunts is to put on the offered 3D glasses at the beginning of the tour.
Nightime in a 3D environment lets clowns pop up from hidden corners. They chase visitors through a bridge in a swirling tunnel with bright neon green bursting on the bridge. The short maze has glowing red walls that tilt in a zig-zag formation. The challenge is to keep walking forward even when the floor multiplies as clowns scream at visitors’ faces from obscure boxes in the walls.
Nightmares on Oakwood Street Waiting Line
The second haunted house is called Nightmares on Oakwood Street. A labyrinth filled with classic air pressure scares at the entrance. A line for general admission waits outside an eery house with black cloth windows. Screams vibrate the wooded panels off the walls. Teenagers giggle and herd the entrance.
The haunting contains several rooms ranging from cannibal kitchens with limbs hanging from the ceiling in the dim light to chainsaw men following visitors. Red splotches paint every room, and Norse writing covers the walls as visitors proceed further into the maze. Flashing lights disorient visitors and allow actors to frighten them from different directions. Deprivation of senses gets worse the longer a visitor walks into the maze.
The last stretch consists of complete darkness in a large room, and the visitors must find the official exit to finish the haunt.
A great haunt for only 20$ you can go and experience terrifying thrills and the scare actors are amazing. You can tell they work so hard. There a 2 haunted houses for your money. Waiting Entry
Outside World of Khaos Ticket Entrance
The World of Khaos ticket line has a DJ partying on the roof with rainbow lights flashing above the audience. While waiting, costumed actors will wave and take photos with the visitors to get acquainted with the setting.
The World of Khaos is at 816 East Oakwood Street in Tyler, Texas. The haunt begins at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on regular October Weekends.
One ticket for $20 gives access to two haunted house visits and $30 for a VIP pass into them. The attraction provides free parking in front of the haunted houses. Re-entry costs $5. The ticket booth takes cash and credit. Bags and masks are not allowed inside the haunted locations. If an item is lost, a $250 fee is charged to retrieve them.
The haunt is not for children under ten. World of Khaos uses flashing lights and smoke for their attractions which can cause difficulty breathing or severe disorientation.
The World of Khaos is open throughout October and in the final five nights. Oct. 28 and 29 are available from 7 p.m. to midnight. However, the attraction opens on Oct. 30, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., and on Oct., from 7 p.m. to closing. The final closing time will be announced on the World of Khaos website and Facebook page.
