On Thursday, April 13, UT Tyler hosted a campus-wide registration drive in an effort to get students ready for the fall semester.

Organized by Academic Success and Student Success, the event offered several tables where students could speak with their academic advisor. Advisors helped students choose their classes, view their Patriot Advisement Report (PAR), and enroll for fall.

In addition to academic guidance, the event offered perks for students who registered at the event, had previously registered, or are planning to graduate. Nearly 200 Chick-Fil-A sandwiches were given away along with chips, water and freshly made popcorn.

As a final touch, participants received a sticker saying “I ENROLLED.”

Registration opened on the following dates:

  • April 3rd: Graduate/Senior/Presidential Fellow/Honors/SI Leader/NCAA Students
  • April 4th: Juniors
  • April 5th: Sophomores
  • April 6th: Freshmen

It is recommended to meet with an academic advisor and enroll as soon as possible to ensure that chosen classes are not filled up. Students can schedule an appointment with their advisor through EAB Navigate or by reaching out to advising
