Equinox By Gabriella Vazquez
September gifts the month of balance
To bring days of warm crisp air
And nights of cool autumn breeze.
Exact opposites of one another
Fostering such intense harmony.
The sun and the moon as parallels
To illuminate the sky with consciousness and slumber.
Each serving their equal sentences,
The display of gold and pearl beams like clockwork.
Earth is at peace in the fall;
Her soul at a complete rest of equilibrium
As she hosts a land simply brimming with
Calmness and
Contentment.
