Tyler Film Festival Award Night

The Tyler Film Festival finished Saturday night, Sept. 9, after disbursing over $2,000 in awards.  Out of the 24 short film selections, the following four received awards.

Written in Ink, by Cordelaine Kline of Austin, Texas, won $250 for the Audience Favorite award.

Round 1, by Matthew Lee Ward and Christian Castillo of Grand Prairie, Texas, won $500 for the Best Young Filmmaker award.

LIVE, by Mara Tamkovich of Warsaw, Poland, won $1,000 for the Everywhere Else award.

Strings, by Rodrigo Moreno-Fernandez of Brownsville, Texas, won $1,000 for the Best Texas Film award and received a free pass to the South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.
