Nori Ito, Raul Carrillo, Angel Miranda, Andre Cavichione, Johnathan Sosa, Ralph Mangondoza, Brook Williams, Craig Chisholm and Lukas Paulun were all recognized during a ceremony before the game.

The team then went on to beat DBU 3-2.

“I’m graduating this year, and it will be my final season playing college soccer, so it was a very bittersweet game,” said Senior midfielder Chisholm. “It felt really good to be recognized for all of my hard work and effort that I have put into the team. And above all, it just goes to show that my hard work has paid off, since we won the game.”

Chisholm said the victory was particularly special to him as the game was not easy to win.

“DBU is probably our team’s strongest competition,” he said. “This made the win even more enjoyable. We beat our strongest competition, and on the night that I was being recognized for my contributions to the UT Tyler soccer team.”
