Annual Zombie Run to Begin Oct. 27

UT Tyler’s most ghoulish intramural is approaching. On Oct. 27, the annual Zombie Run will begin. Runners will attempt to make it through the finish line without being “zombified.”

The Zombie Run is “a fun run designed to get people a little more active,” said Assistant Director of Competitive Sports & Facilities Tyler Artley. The run starts at the serpentine path next to Ornelas Hall and goes through the trails on campus.

Students can register at UT Tyler’s intramural league page. Registration is open now and will close on Oct. 27 at noon. 

Of course, costumes for the Zombie Run are encouraged. All participants will receive a Zombie Run t-shirt, but those in costume will receive an additional t-shirt from past Zombie Runs.

The top finishers will receive an Intramural Champ shirt and the pride of finishing the spookiest run of the season.
