Students will gather this Halloween for a night of frightful fun at the University Center.
The Office of Student Engagement will be hosting a Murder Mystery game in the University Center ballroom, located on the third floor, from 3 to 5pm on Halloween night. In honor of the Halloween theme, a variety of games from the “Hunt a Killer” box sets will be played, with themes focusing on deciphering clues to find the killer. Teams of six will compete in these murder mystery board games.
“I wanted to use “Hunt a Killer” boxes; one of the YouTubers I watch was sponsored by them. I also heard they were very popular, so I decided to revolve my event around that,” said Alexa Manfredo, the Student Engagement senior student assistant.
Manfredo organized the event to provide a chill and fun evening for the students during Halloween. Food will be provided for those attending the spooky night of fun.
Prizes consisting of candy, socks, syringe pens, Halloween-themed keychains, and a reversible plush will be given out to the winning team of six. Other games such as a candy jar guessing game or the opportunity for casual meet-and-greet between students will bring everyone together for a fun Halloween evening.
“All I want them to do is to have fun, so if they come as a group with friends, that’s cool. But if they just are randomly grouped, that could also work: it would be great to branch out to people,” said Manfredo.
Students are able to RSVP on Patriots Engage.
