Renovation projects began in the University Center this fall semester. When the work is completed, some programs for students will be moving to new locations.
“The current renovation project should be completed by the end of September with the transitioning to the new spaces determined by the specific departments,” project manager John Thorn said.
The Office of Career Success will be one of the programs that will move from the second floor to the third floor.
“The new location will provide a larger space for current services and new services like the new professional headshot photo booth,” Rosemary Cooper, executive director of Career Success, said.
The department of Career Success provides resources to students, alumni and employers looking for work. They also maintain the Career Closet that provides professional clothing to students at no charge.
The daily operations and services offered by Career Success proceed as normal despite the construction.
“We have maintained the high level of service that we typically provide to all students,” Cooper said.
The new location of the Office of Career Success is planned to open in November.
