The University of Texas at Tyler is helping graduating students get ready for commencement. The Spring Graduation Fair will provide seniors with resources to ensure a smooth transition to graduation.
The fair will take place 1-4 p.m. Feb. 25 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 in the University Center Ballroom and feature representatives from the registrar’s office, career services and the alumni association. Students can apply for graduation, order class rings, confirm application status and receive free headshots.
Amorie Willis, a Human Resources major, plans to attend to help her finalize graduation preparations.
“I’m excited to graduate, but there are so many things to take care of beforehand,” Willis said. “The fair makes it fun and easy to get everything done in one place.”
Attendees will have a chance to have photos taken in their graduation regalia and enter to win door prizes, according to information from organizers.
Students are encouraged to RSVP on Patriots Engage to ensure they receive updates and event details.
For students who aren’t able to attend, the university provides resources about graduation through the UT Tyler website.
“This moment is a celebration of years of dedication, hard work and perseverance,” Willis said. “Graduation is not just about receiving a piece of paper—it’s about stepping into a new chapter of life filled with possibilities, growth and success.”
