UT Tyler is ranked among the top 100 online programs in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs.

The rankings include nursing and veterans’ programs.

What They’re Saying

“Online education plays an important part in our objective of meeting students where they are,” President Dr. Julie V. Philley said in a statement released by the university. “We are so proud to see that our online programs continue to be recognized by such a prestigious publication.”

Samantha Wynn, a nursing student, said the rankings gives her confidence about being successful. “The online format is helpful with a busy schedule, especially while working in a hospital,” she said.
