Creative Writing Club Debuts at UT Tyler

The Creative Writing club wrote itself in UT Tyler history by becoming an official organization.

President, Autumn VanBuskirk, said that, “The Creative Writing Club aims to provide a space for the UT Tyler community to share their writing, make connections with other creative minds, and experience professionalization opportunities. We want to encourage all forms of creative writing as well as promote opportunities for students to share their work with their peers. We meet bi-monthly and offer writing prompts, writing workshops, learning opportunities and guest speakers.”

Any students, faculty and staff can join. Information about meetings is found at Patriots Engage, Instagram, or  Discord.

The Creative Writing Club’s next meeting will be on March 29 at 12:30 p.m. in WTB 137.
