BY SANTIAGO NUNES/Multimedia Editor

The Tyler Film Festival is returning. The three-day event is set to take place Sept. 12-Sept. 14. The festival will be held at Liberty Hall in downtown Tyler. The events for the first two days begin at 7 p.m. while the events for the third and final day begin at 6 p.m.

The festival is a showcase of short films no longer than 15 minutes which are made by students and independent parties alike. This festival will feature filmmakers from Texas and across the world.

Each day will feature a new set of short films. Certain productions will have cast and crew members available for Q&A sessions after the airing of the film. After all the films have been showcased, there will be an awards ceremony on Sept. 14.
