Music, laughter and loud talking spill out the front door as attendees slip inside.
Normally quiet and peaceful, today the cafeteria is chaotic and busy as students and their guests eagerly line up for the Midnight Breakfast. This popular and semi-annual event features karaoke, free food and activity tables.
Hundreds of students edge past one another, elbowing and squeezing past others chatting, eating and laughing. One half clutches free UT Tyler stuffed animals, and the other half holds overflowing plates of breakfast foods as they attempt to find an open seat.
Overall, the three-story event drew in students from all majors, interests and hobbies to enjoy their night and the giveaways.
