Enrollment for Spring 2026 will begin on Monday, Oct. 20.
In a recent email sent out, UT Tyler admission staff cited evidence that found students have better outcomes if enrolled in a timely manner.
Based on this evidence, there has been a policy change to move the enrollment window up by two weeks. The email also points out that students must be enrolled by the first day of classes.
The academic calendar has been updated to reflect these changes and show the following:
Monday, Oct. 20 begins registration enrollment for seniors
Tuesday, Oct. 21 begins registration enrollment for juniors
Wednesday, Oct. 22 begins registration enrollment for sophomores
Thursday, Oct. 23 begins registration enrollment for freshmen
All further exceptions will be on a case by case basis and will must be approved by the respective dean of that student.
