TSM Staff

Nathan Witt is a senior majoring in mass communications. He has been obsessed with music his whole life, and he is fascinated by Tyler’s underground music scene. He is a huge believer in the power of community and believes that TSM has the opportunity to unify our student body. Outside of TSM, he is an executive director for the nonprofit Flint & Steel coalition.

Karleigh Yancy is a sophomore majoring in mass communications. She is a proud fanatic of music, enjoying her own made 90 playlists on Spotify. She also delights in art, fashion, film and loves all varieties of creative media. Outside of TSM, she currently works as a graphic designer.

My name is Dylan, and I am a senior at UT Tyler earning my bachelor degree in Mass Communications with a minor in graphic design. I was given a second chance at UT Tyler and was able to find what I was passionate about. I also like retro things such as cassettes and records, and I can be an old man at times.

Santiago Nunez is a senior majoring in mass communications. He enjoys reading comic books, listening to music, observing art and all other creative interests. In regards to multimedia, he is well versed with video and photo cameras, and he has been using Adobe editing suite for seven years. He hopes to find a career that allows him to express himself authenticity and use his faculties to spread messages.

Paulina Mata is a junior majoring in mass communications. In her free time, she loves to knit and crotchet, listen to music and stress bake cookies. While spending her time online, she enjoys finding media and video ideas for TSM’s social media.

I’m Leigh, the Broadcast Editor and director of the student broadcast for Talon Student Media. I started doing broadcast news at TJC where I directed and did video work for the student broadcast as well! I major in Mass Communications. I enjoy sleeping in for long hours and practicing digital art as a hobby.

Breanna Bolle is a senior majoring in mass communication with a minor in marketing and graphic design. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games, attending concerts and crocheting. Outside of TSM, she interns at Longview PAWS.

Larry Bonilla is a senior majoring in English with a minor in writing with technology. He drifts off reading classic literature, loves drafting film reviews, enjoys writing short stories and easily loses himself to indie rock. He’d love a career in publishing, law or education in the future.

Breanna Bolle is a senior majoring in mass communication with a minor in marketing and graphic design. In her free time, she enjoys playing board games, attending concerts and crocheting. Outside of TSM, she interns at Longview PAWS.

Jim Rasberry is a junior majoring in mass communications. He enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and video games, particularly Final Fantasy XIV. In the future, he'd love to be a Game Designer/World Designer for creative worlds in tabletop role-playing game, comic books and video games.

Faris Ebrahim is a freshman planning on majoring in communications. He finds excitement in screen writing and producing short films. He also enjoys photography. He said, if he had to pick one movie to watch before he died, he would choose Pixar’s Finding Nemo.

Melanie Romero is a sophomore majoring in mass communications with a minor in marketing. She is obsessed with listening to pop music, and she also enjoys baking sweet treats. Outside of TSM, she has interned for the City of Tyler; from it, she has learned valuable skills in communications and marketing strategies.
